Many Halloween and Fall-related events were taking place around the iCare Health Network today and over the past couple of weeks. Residents and staff had a great time celebrating with food, music, decorations and activities.  Check out the photos here! 

On Saturday, October 28, 2023 a team from Parkville Care Center took part in the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Greater Hartford and raised over $1000 for advancing the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease. The walk took place at Rentschler Field and according to the Alzheimer’s Association website in total had over 1,300 participants in 275 teams and raised $300,000 towards their goal.  Great job, Parkville team!

On October 8, 2023, staff and their families from iCare’s Parkville Care Center and Trinity Hill Care Center represented iCare Health Network in celebrating the 2023 Greater Hartford Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival del Coqui. As they did in 2019 and again in 2022, the iCare team marched in the parade from Wawarme Avenue, ending in Bushnell Park, decked out in matching t-shirts and regalia and accompanied by decorated Jeeps. 

At an October 4, 2023 meeting of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) Council of States, iCare Health Network President and CEO Chris Wright was elected Vice Chair of the Board of Governors. The meeting and elections took place at the annual AHCA-NCAL Convention and Expo in Denver, CO and the full, elected slate of the Board was announced at the closing ceremonies.
