The team at Chelsea Place celebrated Dorothy Warner, who was retiring from 38 years of service as a Certified Nursing Assistant, all of which took place at Chelsea Place Care Center. Administrator Judy Konow said of Warner, “she is one of the best CNAs ever!” Thank you for your service to our residents, Dorothy. Good luck in all that you do. 

Chelsea Place held a “Passionately Pink Fundraiser” to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Entertainment was provided by DJ Niffy and pink cupcakes, drinks and decor completed the theme. All proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund to help “save lives and offer hope to people fighting breast cancer.”

The Touchpoints at Farmington team celebrated a key milestone in employee safety; 500 days without time lost to a work related injury. For all of their hard work, attention to safety and dedication to a team effort, the staff was treated to brick-oven pizza from Bill’s Mobile Brick Oven. iCare leadership shared with the Touchpoints at Farmington team that it takes “ideas, expectations, management, and enthusiasm to make such a safe workplace.”

iCare Health Network has announced that Sarah Howroyd is joining the company as Director of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Howroyd will help to build out IHN’s mental health and substance use programming to be as person-centered and recovery-oriented as possible. She will create a forward-looking structure, business practices and network for new connections within IHN’s mental health and addiction treatment lines of business .

The main entrance to Fresh River Healthcare is dressed up for Fall, due in part to Crystal and Brooke. Crystal is a nurse with Beacon Hospice, Fresh River partner, and the mother and daughter team volunteered their time to make it happen. Special thanks to them!
